Go to this site (click on title of this post) and see for youself. As with everything else about this community, I think you will be impressed. I am.

Note: If this new site is as advertised, this could be the last posting on this "Palmetto-Bluff Reporter's" web blog.

Intranet Web Site Planned For P-B Property Owners

This Bluff Reporter has learned that a newly hired Palmetto Bluff Communications Manager will be tasked with launching an intranet site providing limited access to "authorized" users (aka P-B property owners). This site will serve as an online newspaper, with daily updates and information about all that P-B has to offer. The Commmunications Manager indicates the site is in the final stages of development.

Based on how the new Palmetto Bluff online site meets the P-B owner's needs, there may be no reason for this P-B Reporter blog site to continue. Stay Tuned.

P-B Marina to be built on New River

Plans call for up to 186 boat slips to be part of the P-B expansion into an area called "Big House". This will be a VERY environmentally responsible project. For example, fueling facilities WILL NOT be provided at this marina.

The site, located along the New River, eventually could have as many as 186 boat slips. The marina will be built in stages, with the first portion of 46 slips being constructed in mid- to late 2006. The marina still needs approval from state and federal agencies before work can begin.

Inn At Palmetto Bluff "In a class by itself"

A personal experience....... last week we stayed in the May River cottage #11 while we weighed our decision to buy a property here in P-B. I must say that our "Inn experience" was the ultimate relaxation and stress reduction technique. It certainly put us in the right frame of mind for making such a significant decision as a home purchase.

The quality and attention to detail at this resort reminds us of "The Greenbriar" in West Virginia. Understated elegance and service beyond measure! In our cottage, every detail was attended to, including a complimentary bottle of wine, sun tan lotion, and bottle of bug spray (which came in handy this time of year). Even a pair of binoculars and bird reference manual helped us identify those beautiful creatures just outside our cottage door.

Please, do yourself a favor, book an overnight (at least) at this fine resort. Join them for dinner, and a drink around the bonfire at the river's edge. You'll be glad you did. And, for you lucky P-B property owners, you'll be delighted that this wonderful resort is right in your backyard.

Record Sales - $106M for P-B Homes and Lots

"The demand has been strong for both our high-priced family compounds as well as the small lots in our village." Says Reacher, P-B GM & COO.

P-B will begin marketing a series of new properties this spring on the May River Golf Club course and along the May River, as well as south of the village looking east to the marshes of the Cooper River.

Peacher said the developer will also introduce new village homes in the West Village area near the golf course.
